The ATEN VS4841 is a compact 4-port True 4K HDMI switch designed for home entertainment systems, gaming setups, meeting rooms, presentations and professional audiovisual installations.

It allows up to four compatible HDMI source devices to connect to one HDMI display. Compatible source devices can include laptops, desktop computers, game consoles, media players, TV boxes and Blu-ray or DVD players.

The VS4841 supports True 4K resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, with a maximum HDMI bandwidth of 18Gbps and a maximum pixel clock of 600MHz.

ATEN RapidSync technology supports fast synchronisation when switching between connected HDMI sources. Users can select the required source using the pushbutton on the unit or the included infrared remote control.

The switch also supports auto plug-in detection, which automatically switches to the most recently connected HDMI source.

Support for HDR10+, HDMI 3D formats, Deep Color and HDCP 2.2 allows the switch to work with compatible modern entertainment and audiovisual equipment.

Compatible multichannel audio formats include LPCM 7.1, Dolby Digital and DTS-HD Master Audio.

The VS4841 is an HDMI switch and not an HDMI splitter. It connects multiple HDMI sources to one display and does not distribute one HDMI source across multiple displays.

The connected HDMI source devices, display and HDMI cables must support the required resolution, refresh rate, HDR format, HDMI features and HDCP version.

For True 4K output at 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, compatible HDMI source equipment, a compatible display and suitable HDMI cables are required.

The maximum supported HDMI input and output cable distance is up to 3 metres when transmitting 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma.

Actual performance depends on the connected source device, display, HDMI cables, resolution, refresh rate and HDMI features supported by each device.

The VS4841 connects up to four HDMI source devices to one HDMI display. It does not distribute one HDMI source across multiple displays.

A compatible 5V/1A USB power adapter is required and is not included.
