The ATEN VS4814 is a compact 4-port True 4K HDMI splitter designed for digital signage, commercial displays, boardrooms, classrooms, home entertainment systems and professional audiovisual installations.

It distributes the same audio and video signal from one compatible HDMI source to four HDMI displays simultaneously. Compatible source devices can include laptops, desktop computers, game consoles, media players, set-top boxes and Blu-ray or DVD players.

The splitter supports True 4K resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. It also supports HDR10+, 3D formats, Deep Color and HDCP 2.2 for use with compatible source equipment, displays, content and HDMI cables.

ATEN EDID Sync technology automatically optimises the output resolution according to the connected displays, helping to reduce compatibility and display start-up issues.

Compatible audio formats include LPCM 7.1, Dolby Digital and DTS-HD Master Audio, allowing the HDMI signal to carry supported multichannel audio to compatible displays and audio equipment.

The VS4814 is an HDMI splitter and not an HDMI switch. It mirrors the same HDMI source across all four connected displays and does not provide separate content to each display.

The connected HDMI source, displays and cables must support the required resolution, refresh rate, HDR format and HDCP version.

For True 4K output at 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma, compatible HDMI source equipment, HDMI displays and suitable HDMI cables are required.

The maximum supported HDMI input and output cable distance is up to 3 metres when transmitting 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma.

The VS4814 mirrors the same HDMI source across all four connected displays. It does not display different content on each screen and does not switch between multiple HDMI source devices.

A compatible 5V/1A USB power adapter is required and is not included.
