The RCT SD-4 Compact USB Type-C 4-in-1 Hub is designed for users who need a portable way to expand a compatible USB-C device with display, wired network, USB peripheral and Power Delivery connectivity.

The hub connects to a compatible device through USB Type-C and provides four useful ports: one USB-C Power Delivery port, one HDMI output, one RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port and one USB 3.0 Type-A port.

The HDMI port supports display output at resolutions of up to 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz when used with compatible source devices, displays and cables. It is also backward compatible with supported 1080p and 720p display output.

The RJ45 Ethernet port supports network speeds of up to 1000Mbps and is backward compatible with supported 100Mbps and 10Mbps wired networks. This provides a stable wired-network option in environments where Wi-Fi connectivity is unavailable or unsuitable.

The USB 3.0 Type-A port supports data-transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps and power output of up to 4.5W for compatible USB devices.

Its USB-C Power Delivery port supports pass-through charging of up to 100W when used with a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger, cable and host device.

The aluminium housing, compact dimensions and lightweight 45g design make the RCT SD-4 practical for home, office, study, hybrid-work and travel setups.

Please check the capabilities of your device’s USB-C port before ordering, as not every USB-C connection supports video output, Power Delivery charging or all hub functions.

Please check that your device has a compatible USB-C port before ordering.

For HDMI display output, the connected USB-C port must support video output. A USB-C port that supports charging or data only may not provide HDMI functionality.

To achieve display output of up to 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz, the source device, USB-C port, operating system, HDMI display and connected equipment must support the required resolution and refresh rate.

For pass-through charging, a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger and charging cable are required. The hub does not include a power adapter unless specifically stated by the supplier.

The connected device determines the maximum charging input it can accept. The hub cannot increase a charger or device beyond its supported charging specifications.

Actual Ethernet speed depends on the connected device, network equipment, cabling, operating system and internet or local-network performance.

Actual USB transfer speed depends on the connected device, storage media, peripheral and host USB-C capabilities.

Operating-system support and individual hub functions may vary depending on the device, drivers and system configuration.
