The Synology BeeDrive BDS70-2T is a compact 2TB portable solid state drive designed for fast file storage, automatic backup and easy file management.

Its USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface supports transfer speeds of up to 1,050MB/s when connected to a compatible computer, cable and USB port.

BeeDrive for desktop can automatically back up selected folders and synchronise files between BeeDrive and supported Windows or macOS computers.

The BeeDrive mobile application supports photo and video backup, remote file access and wireless BeeDrop file transfers from supported iOS and Android devices.

AI-powered Deep Search allows supported documents and images stored on BeeDrive to be searched according to their content rather than relying only on filenames and folders. Deep Search requires a compatible computer that meets Synology’s current hardware and operating-system requirements.

BeeDrive can also back up supported iCloud Photos libraries, SD cards and files stored on compatible external drives through a connected computer.

The BDS70-2T can be used as a conventional portable SSD without installing the BeeDrive software.

Its compact design and 43g weight make it suitable for carrying documents, photographs, videos, creative projects and business files.

Maximum transfer speed requires a compatible USB 3.2 Gen 2 port and suitable cable.
