Short Description

The ASUS ProArt PA27UCX-K is a 27-inch 4K UHD Mini-LED professional monitor featuring 576 local-dimming zones, up to 1,000cd/m² HDR peak brightness and factory-calibrated Delta E below 1 colour accuracy.

Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, combined with hardware calibration and an included X-Rite i1Display Pro calibrator, makes it ideal for professional colour grading, editing and HDR post-production.

Why Choose This ASUS

The PA27UCX-K is designed for creative professionals who require accurate colour reproduction, controlled HDR performance and support for professional colour spaces.

Its Mini-LED backlight uses 576 individually controlled local-dimming zones to produce more precise highlights and deeper dark areas than a conventional edge-lit monitor.

Quantum Dot technology provides wide colour coverage across sRGB, Rec.709, Adobe RGB, DCI-P3 and Rec.2020. Factory calibration to Delta E below 1 and ASUS ProArt Hardware Calibration provide a strong foundation for colour-critical professional workflows.

The included X-Rite i1Display Pro calibrator helps users recalibrate the monitor and maintain colour consistency over time.

Product Description

The ASUS ProArt PA27UCX-K is a professional 27-inch 4K UHD monitor designed for colour grading, HDR mastering, video editing, photography and post-production.

Its IPS panel provides a 3840 x 2160 resolution, 163ppi pixel density and wide 178-degree viewing angles. Mini-LED backlighting divides the display into 576 local-dimming zones, allowing brightness to be controlled more precisely across different areas of the screen.

The display reaches up to 1,000cd/m² peak HDR brightness and carries VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, providing compatibility with multiple professional HDR production formats.

ASUS Off-Axis Contrast Optimisation uses an optical compensation layer designed to reduce halo effects and improve dark-scene contrast when the display is viewed from an angle.

Quantum Dot technology enables coverage of 100% sRGB, 100% Rec.709, 99.5% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3 and 83% Rec.2020. True 10-bit colour allows the monitor to display more than 1.07 billion colours.

Each PA27UCX-K is factory calibrated to achieve Delta E below 1 colour accuracy. ASUS ProArt Hardware Calibration allows supported colour profiles to be stored in the monitor’s internal scaler, helping provide consistent results when the display is connected to different computers.

The included X-Rite i1Display Pro calibrator supports ongoing calibration and colour-maintenance workflows.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.2, USB-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode, four USB-A downstream ports and a 3.5mm earphone output.

Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes allow content from multiple connected sources to be viewed simultaneously. The ergonomic stand supports height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustment.

USB-C video requires a computer or device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C.

The connected computer and graphics hardware must support 3840 x 2160 output at the required refresh rate and colour depth.

Dolby Vision is not supported on Windows by this model. Dolby Vision operation therefore depends on a compatible source device, operating system, content and connection. asus.com

HDR10 and HLG operation require compatible source hardware, content, software and connections.

Hardware calibration requires supported calibration software, operating-system compatibility and an appropriate connection to the monitor.
