The Synology RackStation RS6426xs+ is a 16-bay 3U enterprise NAS built for organisations that need substantial storage capacity today and room to grow tomorrow.

An Intel Xeon D-1739 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads powers demanding enterprise storage workloads, while 16GB of DDR4 ECC memory is included as standard and can be expanded to 96GB.

Sixteen hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, providing a flexible foundation for high-capacity storage and data-protection configurations.

Dual 10GbE RJ-45 ports provide high-speed connectivity as standard. Two PCIe Gen4 x8 expansion slots provide further flexibility for compatible 10GbE, 25GbE and SSD cache solutions.

For organisations expecting substantial data growth, the RS6426xs+ supports up to four Synology RX1225RP expansion units, increasing the system from 16 to a maximum of 64 drive bays.

Synology DiskStation Manager brings storage management, file sharing, backup, synchronisation, surveillance and data protection together within a central platform. Support for Synology High Availability also enables compatible identical systems to be paired for additional service continuity.

Actual surveillance capacity varies according to codec, resolution, frame rate, storage performance, system configuration and other active workloads.
