Product Description

The Synology DiskStation DS124 is a compact single-bay NAS built for straightforward personal and small-office storage.

It uses a Realtek RTD1619B quad-core processor running at 1.7GHz and includes 1GB DDR4 non-ECC memory.

The single storage bay supports a compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDD or 2.5-inch SATA SSD. Installing a 2.5-inch drive requires the optional Synology Type C Drive Holder.

One Gigabit Ethernet port connects the DS124 to your network, while two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports provide connectivity for compatible external storage and devices.

Synology DSM provides tools for centralising files, sharing data, managing photos, performing backups and operating compatible surveillance cameras.

Because the DS124 contains only one internal drive bay, it does not provide RAID drive redundancy. Important data should therefore also be backed up to another device, location or supported cloud destination.

Storage drive is sold separately.

Important Backup Consideration

The DS124 has only one drive bay and therefore cannot provide RAID protection against drive failure.
