Product Description

The Synology DiskStation DS725+ is designed for users who want the simplicity and compact size of a 2-bay NAS without severely limiting future storage growth.

It is powered by an AMD Ryzen R1600 processor with 2 cores and 4 threads, running at 2.6GHz with turbo frequency up to 3.1GHz.

The system includes 4GB DDR4 ECC memory and supports expansion to 32GB.

Two hot-swappable main bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Two built-in M.2 2280 NVMe slots allow compatible SSDs to be used for cache acceleration.

Networking includes one 2.5GbE RJ-45 port together with one 1GbE port, giving the DS725+ faster-than-Gigabit connectivity straight out of the box.

When two main drive bays are no longer enough, one DX525 expansion unit can increase the system to a maximum of seven drive bays.

Synology DSM provides integrated file management, backup, synchronisation, data protection and surveillance tools.

Storage drives are sold separately.
