Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS2825RP+ is a 16-bay 3U business NAS designed for organisations that require dependable storage capacity, scalable performance and resilient hardware.

It is powered by an AMD Ryzen V1780B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, accompanied by 8GB DDR4 ECC memory. Memory can be expanded to 32GB for more demanding workloads.

Sixteen hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs.

Networking includes one 10GbE RJ-45 port and two 1GbE ports. A PCIe expansion slot provides additional options for faster networking and SSD cache.

When more storage is required, one RX1225RP expansion unit increases the system from 16 to a maximum of 28 drive bays.

Redundant power helps improve service continuity, while Synology DSM provides integrated file management, backup, synchronisation, surveillance and data protection.
