Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS1226+ is an 8-bay 2U business NAS designed for reliable storage in environments where rack depth and upgrade flexibility matter.

It is powered by an AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads running at 2.2GHz.

The system includes 4GB DDR4 ECC memory and supports expansion to 32GB using compatible Synology memory modules.

Eight hot-swappable main bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Two integrated M.2 2280 NVMe slots support compatible Synology SSDs for read/write cache acceleration.

Dual 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports provide fast built-in connectivity, while a PCIe Gen3 x8 slot with an x4 link supports compatible 10GbE and 25GbE network cards.

One RX426 expansion unit increases total drive capacity from eight to twelve bays.

The RS1226+ also supports direct installation in compatible 2-post 19-inch racks or supported Synology rail kits for 4-post installations.

Synology DSM provides integrated tools for file management, backup, synchronisation, business collaboration, snapshots and surveillance.
