Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS2423+ is a 12-bay 2U NAS designed to provide growing businesses with reliable, high-performance centralised storage.

It is powered by an AMD Ryzen V1780B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, supported by 8GB of DDR4 ECC memory. System memory can be expanded to 32GB for more demanding workloads.

Twelve hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, allowing storage to be configured around required capacity, performance and data protection.

Networking includes one built-in 10GbE RJ-45 port together with two 1GbE ports, providing fast connectivity straight out of the box. A PCIe Gen3 expansion slot allows selected networking and SSD adapter cards to be added when requirements grow.

One compatible RX1223RP expansion unit increases total system capacity from 12 to 24 drive bays.

Synology DiskStation Manager brings file management, backup, synchronisation, surveillance, snapshots and supported business applications together in one central platform.
