The Synology RackStation RS822RP+ provides the capabilities of the RS822+ while adding redundant power for businesses that place greater importance on service continuity.

Its AMD Ryzen V1500B processor provides 4 cores and 8 threads, supported by 2GB DDR4 ECC memory that can be upgraded to a maximum of 32GB.

Four hot-swappable SATA bays support compatible 3.5-inch HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. One RX418 expansion unit can increase the total system capacity to eight drive bays.

Four built-in 1GbE network ports provide flexible connectivity, while a PCIe Gen3 expansion slot supports selected faster Synology networking and SSD cache solutions.

The key advantage of the RS822RP+ over the standard RS822+ is its redundant power design. Dual power supplies help reduce the risk of service interruption caused by a single PSU failure.
