Product Description

The Synology RX426 is a four-bay 1U expansion unit designed specifically for compatible 26-series RackStation systems.

It supports compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs in four hot-swappable drive bays.

The expansion unit connects to its host RackStation using a USB Type-C expansion cable. Once connected, the installed storage is managed directly through Synology DSM Storage Manager.

The RX426 can be used to add additional capacity without replacing the existing NAS or interrupting normal system services.

Its short-depth 1U design makes it particularly useful in smaller network cabinets, edge environments and branch offices.

The RX426 requires a compatible Synology RackStation. It cannot function as a standalone NAS.
