Product Description

The AOPEN PV12a is a compact portable LED projector designed for home entertainment, mobile presentations, casual gaming and projection while travelling.

Its DLP projection system delivers a native 854 × 480 resolution and accepts compatible input resolutions up to 1600 × 1200. The LED light source produces up to 800 LED lumens and offers a rated lifespan of up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode.

The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to approximately two hours of use in Eco mode, allowing the projector to be used away from a wall socket for compatible presentations, videos and other content.

A collapsible integrated stand allows the projection angle to be adjusted without requiring a separate desktop stand. The projector can be positioned for front, upward or selected ceiling-projection applications.

Auto Portrait technology can automatically adjust the image orientation when the projector is positioned vertically. Vertical keystone correction helps compensate for image distortion when the projector is not positioned directly in front of the projection surface.

The PV12a supports wired HDMI connectivity and includes an AOPEN UWA5 Wireless Projection Kit for compatible devices. Its USB Type-A port can be used with supported media and accessories, while the stereo mini-jack output allows connection to compatible external speakers or headphones.

An integrated 2W mono speaker provides audio without requiring separate speakers for basic viewing and presentation applications.

Some subscription streaming services may restrict screen mirroring or wireless casting because of digital-content protection requirements.

The projector has a native resolution of 854 × 480. Higher-resolution signals may be accepted but are displayed at the projector’s native resolution.

Variable refresh rate support is limited to selected HDMI-connected devices, including compatible Xbox consoles and computers with supported AMD graphics hardware.

Battery runtime varies according to brightness mode, volume, wireless use, battery condition, operating temperature and displayed content.

For the clearest image, use the projector in a dark or dimly lit environment. This compact portable model is not designed to replace a high-brightness business or large-venue projector.
