Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS3626xs is a 12-bay 2U rackmount NAS designed to give growing organisations a reliable platform for centralising, protecting and managing business data.

An Intel Xeon D-1726 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads provides the processing capability needed for demanding storage workloads. The system includes 8GB of DDR4 ECC memory and can be expanded to 48GB as requirements grow.

Its 12 hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, allowing businesses to configure storage around their required capacity, performance and level of data protection.

Dual 10GbE RJ-45 ports are built in, providing fast network connectivity for large file transfers, backups, multiple users and virtualisation workloads. Two PCIe Gen4 expansion slots provide additional flexibility for compatible 10GbE or 25GbE networking and SSD cache solutions.

The RS3626xs is also designed to grow. By adding up to two compatible Synology RX1225RP expansion units, total supported drive capacity increases from 12 to 36 bays without replacing the main NAS.

Synology DiskStation Manager provides a central platform for file sharing, backup, synchronisation, data protection, surveillance and supported business applications. Support for Synology High Availability also allows two compatible identical systems to be paired for increased service continuity.
