The Synology DiskStation DS1525+ is designed for businesses that want a storage platform capable of adapting as capacity and performance requirements change.

It is powered by an AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads. The system includes 8GB DDR4 ECC memory and can be expanded to a maximum of 32GB.

Five hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, while two dedicated M.2 2280 NVMe slots provide additional options for SSD caching or supported M.2 storage pools.

Dual 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports provide fast network connectivity as standard. For businesses moving to faster infrastructure, the dedicated network upgrade slot supports the Synology E10G22-T1-Mini 10GbE Network Upgrade Module.

Storage capacity can grow substantially without replacing the NAS. Up to two DX525 expansion units can increase the system from five to a maximum of fifteen drive bays.

Synology DiskStation Manager brings file sharing, backup, synchronisation, data protection, surveillance and storage management together within one central platform.
