Product Description

The Synology DiskStation DS1825+ is an 8-bay desktop NAS designed to balance storage capacity, network performance and future expandability.

It uses an AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads running at 2.2GHz, supported by 8GB DDR4 ECC memory that can be expanded to 32GB.

Eight hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Two built-in M.2 2280 NVMe slots allow compatible SSDs to be used for cache acceleration or supported SSD storage pools.

Dual 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports provide faster networking as standard. The PCIe Gen3 expansion slot also supports selected Synology 10GbE and 25GbE network cards.

Up to two DX525 expansion units increase total supported drive bays from eight to eighteen.

Synology DSM provides centralised file management, backup, synchronisation, collaboration, surveillance and storage protection.

Storage drives are sold separately.
