Product Description

The Synology DiskStation DS225+ is a compact two-bay NAS designed for users who want the convenience of private centralised storage with faster networking and broader business capabilities.

It is powered by an Intel Celeron J4125 processor with four cores, operating at 2.0GHz with turbo frequency up to 2.7GHz. The system includes 2GB DDR4 non-ECC memory and can be expanded to 6GB.

Two SATA drive bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs.

Networking includes one 2.5GbE RJ-45 port and one 1GbE port, giving the DS225+ greater network flexibility than a basic single-Gigabit NAS.

Synology DiskStation Manager provides integrated tools for file sharing, backup, synchronisation, snapshots, surveillance and data protection. The Btrfs file system also supports advanced data-protection capabilities such as snapshots for supported workloads.

Storage drives are sold separately.
