Product Description

The Synology DS3622xs+ is a scalable 12-bay NAS designed for demanding business and professional storage workloads.

It is powered by an Intel Xeon D-1531 processor with six cores, twelve threads, a 2.2GHz base frequency and turbo frequency up to 2.7GHz.

The system includes 16GB of DDR4 ECC SODIMM memory installed as two 8GB modules. Four memory slots are available, with total supported memory capacity of up to 48GB.

Twelve hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA HDDs or SSDs.

Storage can be expanded to a maximum of 36 drive bays by connecting up to two Synology DX1222 Expansion Units.

Network connectivity includes two built-in 10GbE RJ45 ports, two 1GbE RJ45 ports and a dedicated out-of-band management port.

One PCIe Gen3 x8 slot supports compatible Synology network, Fibre Channel and M.2 adapter cards.

The DS3622xs+ does not contain built-in M.2 NVMe slots. Compatible M.2 SSD caching can be added using supported Synology adapter cards.

Synology publishes performance of over 4,700MB/s sequential read, over 2,400MB/s sequential write, over 260,000 random-read IOPS and over 97,000 random-write IOPS in its tested configurations.
