The Synology DiskStation DS1525neo+ is a 5-bay scalable NAS built on the same core hardware platform as the DS1525+.

It features an AMD Ryzen V1500B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads at 2.2GHz.

The neo+ model includes 4GB DDR4 non-ECC memory as standard and supports expansion to 32GB.

Five hot-swappable main bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Two M.2 2280 NVMe slots support compatible Synology SSDs for caching or storage pools.

Dual 2.5GbE ports provide built-in networking, while a dedicated PCIe Gen3 x2 network-upgrade slot supports the E10G22-T1-Mini 10GbE module.

Up to two DX525 expansion units can increase total drive capacity from five to fifteen bays.

Storage drives are sold separately.
