Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS1626xs+ is a 4-bay 1U enterprise NAS designed for demanding storage environments where performance, reliability and rack efficiency are all important.

It is powered by an Intel Xeon D-1726 processor with 6 cores and 12 threads, running at 2.9GHz base frequency and up to 3.5GHz turbo.

The system includes 16GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory and supports expansion to a maximum of 64GB across four memory slots.

Four hot-swappable main bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. Two additional M.2 2280 NVMe slots support compatible Synology SSDs for read/write cache acceleration.

Dual 10GbE RJ-45 ports provide fast built-in networking, while a PCIe Gen4 x8 slot supports compatible 10GbE, 25GbE and other officially supported expansion cards.

A dedicated out-of-band management port allows administrators to manage the system separately from normal data traffic.

When additional storage is required, one Synology RX1225RP expansion unit increases total drive support from four to sixteen bays.

Synology DSM provides integrated file services, backup, virtualisation storage, data protection, surveillance and centralised management.
