Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS2423RP+II combines twelve drive bays, built-in 10GbE networking and redundant power in a 2U business storage platform.

It uses an AMD Ryzen V1780B processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, paired with 8GB DDR4 ECC memory that can be expanded to 32GB.

Twelve hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. One RX1223RP expansion unit can increase total supported storage from 12 to 24 drive bays.

Networking includes one built-in 10GbE RJ-45 connection and two 1GbE ports. A PCIe Gen3 slot provides additional options for faster networking or SSD cache.

The key distinction from the RS2423+ is its redundant power configuration. Dual PSUs help maintain system availability should one power supply fail.

Synology DSM provides a central platform for file management, backup, synchronisation, surveillance and data protection.
