Product Description

The Synology RackStation RS4826xs+ is a 12-bay 2U enterprise NAS built for organisations that need a powerful and scalable platform for centralising, protecting and managing business data.

An Intel Xeon D-1739 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads provides the processing capability required for demanding storage environments. The system includes 16GB of DDR4 ECC memory and can be expanded to 96GB as workloads grow.

Twelve hot-swappable bays support compatible 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs, allowing storage to be configured around capacity, performance and data-protection requirements.

Dual built-in 10GbE RJ-45 ports provide high-speed network connectivity for large file transfers, backup, virtualisation and multiple simultaneous users. Two PCIe Gen4 x8 slots provide additional flexibility for compatible 10GbE, 25GbE and SSD cache solutions.

As storage requirements increase, up to three Synology RX1225RP expansion units can be added, increasing the system from 12 to a maximum of 48 drive bays.

Synology DiskStation Manager provides a central platform for managing files, backup, data protection, synchronisation, surveillance and supported business applications. Synology High Availability can also pair two compatible identical systems to provide additional service continuity.
