The EcoFlow 100W Flexible Solar Panel is a lightweight monocrystalline solar charging panel with up to 23% conversion efficiency, 258° flexibility, pre-cut mounting eyelets and IP68 water and dust resistance for caravans, RVs, vans, boats and compatible off-grid power systems.

Product Description

The EcoFlow 100W Flexible Solar Panel provides renewable solar charging for compatible EcoFlow portable power stations, EcoFlow Power Kits and supported third-party solar systems.

Unlike a conventional rigid solar panel, its lightweight and flexible construction allows it to conform to selected curved and uneven mounting surfaces. This makes it suitable for compatible caravans, RVs, camper vans, boats, cabins and other installations where a heavier rigid panel may not be practical.

The panel delivers a rated output of 100W ±5W under Standard Test Conditions and provides solar conversion efficiency of up to 23%.

Its construction incorporates 182 monocrystalline silicon solar cells manufactured using an advanced glass-fibre and lamination process. A protective ETFE surface layer helps protect the cells during outdoor use.

The panel weighs approximately 2.3kg, making it around 70% lighter than many conventional rigid solar panels.

Flexibility of up to 258° allows the panel to follow suitable curved surfaces when installed within EcoFlow’s specified limits. The panel must not be folded, sharply creased or bent beyond its supported range.

Pre-cut mounting eyelets provide multiple installation options. Depending on the application and mounting surface, the panel may be secured using suitable hooks, fasteners, brackets or approved adhesive.

Integrated bypass diodes help maintain cell performance and reduce overheating when part of the panel is temporarily shaded. Shading can still substantially reduce the panel’s total output.

The IP68 water and dust resistance rating supports use in demanding outdoor environments under specified test conditions.

A separate EcoFlow Solar-to-XT60 or Solar-to-XT60i Charging Cable is required for connection to most compatible EcoFlow portable power stations and is sold separately.

Compatibility depends on the voltage, current, wattage, connector type and solar-input limits of the connected equipment.

The connected portable power station or solar controller must support:

• An open-circuit voltage of approximately 20.3V
• A maximum operating voltage of approximately 17.1V
• A short-circuit current of approximately 6.3A
• A maximum operating current of approximately 5.9A
• Input from a solar panel rated at approximately 100W

A matching connector does not automatically confirm electrical compatibility.

Do not connect the solar panel if its voltage, current or wattage exceeds the supported limits of the connected power station, battery system or solar charge controller.

A compatible EcoFlow Solar-to-XT60 or Solar-to-XT60i Charging Cable is required for connection to most EcoFlow portable power stations.

The Solar-to-XT60 or XT60i Charging Cable is sold separately and is not included with the South African product package.

Multiple panels may be connected only when the combined electrical output remains within the limits of the connected equipment.

For vehicle and marine installations:

• Route cables away from moving components
• Keep cables away from exhaust systems and excessive heat
• Protect cables from sharp edges

The 100W ±5W rating is measured under controlled Standard Test Conditions.

Actual output will normally vary according to:

Under clear conditions with strong sunlight reaching the panel at an effective angle, real-world output may approach the rated figure. Lower output is normal during cloudy weather, high panel temperatures, early morning, late afternoon or partial shading.

Position the panel where it receives direct sunlight with minimal shading.

Integrated bypass diodes may help reduce overheating and maintain partial operation when part of the panel is shaded. They do not eliminate the performance loss caused by shading.
