The EcoFlow RIVER 3 UPS is a compact and quiet portable power station designed for home backup, office use, travel, camping and everyday mobile power.

Its 245Wh lithium iron phosphate battery provides stored energy for compatible routers, laptops, mobile devices, lights, cameras and selected low-wattage appliances during short power interruptions or when mains electricity is unavailable.

The RIVER 3 UPS provides a continuous pure sine wave AC output of 300W, with surge power of up to 600W. EcoFlow X-Boost technology can support selected compatible appliances rated up to approximately 600W by adjusting the supplied voltage.

The UPS model includes an automatic transfer time of under 10 milliseconds. When connected and used correctly, it can help keep compatible routers, communication equipment, computers and selected low-power electronics operating during a brief mains interruption.

The RIVER 3 UPS can power or charge up to five compatible devices simultaneously through its AC, USB-A, USB-C and vehicle power outputs.

Its 100W USB-C port supports compatible laptops, tablets, smartphones and other USB-C devices. Two USB-A ports and a 12.6V vehicle power outlet provide additional charging options.

EcoFlow X-Stream charging technology can recharge the battery from approximately 0% to 100% in 60 minutes through a compatible AC mains connection.

The power station also supports compatible solar charging at up to 110W, vehicle charging at up to 100W and generator charging through its AC input.

Its long-life LiFePO₄ battery is rated for approximately 3000 complete charging cycles before reaching around 80% of its original capacity.

EcoFlow X-GaNPower technology improves energy efficiency and thermal performance, helping the RIVER 3 UPS provide extended runtime for low-wattage devices while operating at less than 30dB under specified conditions.

The internal battery pack has an IP54 protection rating against limited dust and water exposure. This rating applies to the battery pack and does not make the complete power station waterproof.

The combined continuous AC power requirement of connected equipment must remain within the RIVER 3 UPS’s 300W rated AC output.

Devices containing motors, pumps, compressors, heating elements or transformers may require substantially more power during startup. Check both the normal operating and startup requirements before connecting a device.

X-Boost can support selected compatible appliances rated up to approximately 600W by adjusting the supplied voltage. It does not increase the RIVER 3 UPS’s normal continuous output above 300W.

X-Boost may not be suitable for:

• Voltage-sensitive electronics
• Precision instruments
• Appliances with compressors
• Devices containing motors
• Equipment with strict voltage requirements
• Critical medical equipment
• Devices requiring stable full-voltage operation

The under-10ms UPS function applies specifically to the EcoFlow RIVER 3 UPS model.

Before using the unit as a UPS, confirm that the connected equipment:

• Can tolerate a transfer time of up to 10 milliseconds
• Does not exceed the RIVER 3 UPS output limits
• Supports use with a transfer-type UPS or portable power station
• Does not require a zero-transfer online UPS
• Is connected according to EcoFlow’s operating instructions

Critical medical, life-support, server, security, industrial or telecommunications equipment may require a dedicated online UPS or specialised backup-power system.

Solar charging requires a compatible solar panel and a suitable EcoFlow Solar-to-XT60 or XT60i charging cable. Solar panels and charging cables are sold separately unless specifically included in a bundle.

Vehicle charging requires a compatible vehicle-charging cable and a suitable 12V or 24V vehicle accessory socket.

The IP54 rating applies only to the internal battery pack. The complete portable power station is not waterproof and must not be submerged or intentionally exposed to heavy rain, standing water or high-pressure water.

Runtime varies according to connected-device wattage, the number of connected devices, battery level, conversion losses, temperature and operating conditions.
