Compatibility Note

The Cricut Foil Transfer Tool is compatible with Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore and Cricut Venture machines.

It is not compatible with Cricut Joy, Cricut Joy 2 or Cricut Joy Xtra machines, which require the smaller Cricut Joy Foil Transfer Tool.

Foil-transfer projects require Cricut Design Space for Desktop and are not supported through the Design Space mobile app.

Place the base material on a compatible machine mat and position the Cricut Foil Transfer Sheet over the design area with the shiny coloured side facing upwards.

Secure the foil sheet along every edge using the tape supplied with Cricut Foil Transfer Sheets. Keep the foil smooth and taut, and do not allow the tape to cover any part of the design.

Use the tip selected in Design Space, as each tip receives different pressure settings from the machine.

Cricut Foil Transfer Sheets and application tape are not included with this tool and must be purchased separately.

Sustainability

Only the section of Foil Transfer Sheet required for the design needs to be cut and applied, helping reduce unnecessary material waste.

The pressure-activated system does not require electricity, a heating tool or a separate power source.
