Product Description

The RCT SD-13B is a 13-in-1 USB-C docking station designed to expand a compatible laptop, tablet or computer through a single USB-C host connection.

Display connectivity includes two HDMI outputs and one DisplayPort output. Each output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 4K when used with compatible host hardware, operating systems, monitors and cables.

Multi-Stream Transport allows supported host systems to use multiple external displays as separate extended desktops. The number of supported displays, maximum resolution and available refresh rate depend on the capabilities of the connected computer.

Three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 3.0 Type-C data port provide connectivity for compatible storage devices, keyboards, mice and other USB peripherals.

The integrated Gigabit Ethernet port supports network speeds up to 1000Mbps and is backward compatible with 100Mbps and 10Mbps Ethernet networks.

USB-C Power Delivery passthrough accepts a compatible USB-C charger with a rating of up to 100W. Actual charging power delivered to the host device may be lower because the dock and connected peripherals require power for operation.

Separate 3.5mm microphone and analogue audio-output connections support compatible audio equipment.

Integrated SD and microSD card readers provide convenient access to compatible memory cards without requiring a separate reader.

When multiple external monitors are connected through the SD-13B on macOS, the external monitors may display the same mirrored image instead of operating as separate extended desktops.

This is a macOS MST limitation and does not indicate a fault with the docking station.

USB-C Host Compatibility

For complete functionality, the host device’s USB-C port should support:
