Increasing system memory can help a compatible Synology NAS support additional users, larger workloads and more simultaneously active Synology DiskStation Manager applications.

Error-Correcting Code memory helps detect and correct selected memory errors during operation, supporting system stability and data integrity in compatible storage environments.

The D4ES03-8G uses a compact SODIMM form factor. It is not interchangeable with full-size UDIMM, RDIMM, non-ECC or other Synology memory-module types.
