Product Description

The ASUS TUF Gaming A14 FA401UM combines modern gaming performance with a lightweight 14-inch design suited to gaming, study, work and content creation.

Its AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor features eight cores, 16 threads, a 3.8GHz base speed and boost performance of up to 5.1GHz. The processor also includes an AMD XDNA neural processing unit delivering up to 16 TOPS for compatible AI-assisted applications and Windows features.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU includes 8GB of GDDR7 dedicated graphics memory and operates at up to 105W with Dynamic Boost. It supports compatible NVIDIA Blackwell gaming technologies, including DLSS 4, ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex.

The 14-inch IPS-level display provides a 2560 × 1600 WQXGA resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio. A refresh rate of up to 165Hz, 3ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC support help provide smooth gaming with reduced screen tearing and stuttering.

The display covers 100% of the sRGB colour space and features an anti-glare surface. A MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus allow the notebook to manage integrated and dedicated graphics according to performance and power requirements.

The notebook includes 16GB LPDDR5X-7500 onboard memory in a dual-channel configuration and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. Two M.2 PCIe storage connections provide support for additional compatible storage.

Connectivity includes USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL, a UHS-II microSD card reader and a 3.5mm combination audio jack.

Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 provide wireless connectivity. The Full HD infrared camera supports Windows Hello facial recognition, while the backlit keyboard includes a dedicated Copilot key.

The MUX Switch can route graphics output directly from the NVIDIA GPU for improved gaming performance. NVIDIA Advanced Optimus automatically switches between integrated and dedicated graphics according to the active workload.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU supports compatible NVIDIA Blackwell technologies, including DLSS 4, ray tracing and NVIDIA Reflex.

ASUS Armoury Crate provides access to compatible operating modes, system monitoring and performance controls.

Cooling

Dual 89-blade fans, ultra-thin 0.1mm heatsink fins, a full-width rear heatsink and integrated dust filtration help manage heat during gaming and demanding workloads.

In supported Silent mode conditions, 0dB Ambient Cooling allows the fans to stop during suitable light workloads.

Upgradeability

The notebook includes two M.2 PCIe storage connections, including the slot occupied by the supplied 512GB SSD. ASUS specifies that compatible replacement or additional M.2 drives must be single-sided.

The 16GB LPDDR5X memory is onboard and is not user-upgradeable.
