The EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger converts surplus electrical power generated by a compatible vehicle alternator into fast charging power for selected EcoFlow portable power stations.

Delivering up to 800W charging output, the charger can add approximately 1kWh of energy in around 1.3 hours under suitable vehicle and operating conditions.

It supports three operating modes, including portable power station charging, reverse charging of a compatible vehicle or RV battery, and lower-power battery maintenance.

Product Overview

The EcoFlow 800W Alternator Charger provides a fast and efficient way to charge a compatible EcoFlow portable power station while driving.

Traditional vehicle accessory sockets normally provide relatively low charging power. The EcoFlow Alternator Charger connects to the vehicle starter battery and uses surplus power generated by the alternator while the engine is running.

Its built-in DC-to-DC power converter regulates the available energy and can supply up to 800W to a compatible EcoFlow power station.

Under suitable operating conditions, the charger can add approximately 1kWh of stored energy in around 1.3 hours.

Actual charging output depends on the vehicle alternator’s available surplus capacity, vehicle voltage, engine speed, connected electrical systems, charger settings and the power station’s supported input limits.

The charger also provides reverse-charging and battery-maintenance functions. These modes allow a compatible EcoFlow power station to supply controlled power to a supported vehicle starter battery or RV house battery when the correct cables and compatible equipment are used.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity allow users to monitor and manage selected functions through the EcoFlow App.

Charging Mode uses excess power generated by the vehicle alternator to charge a compatible EcoFlow portable power station while the engine is running.
