The EcoFlow RIVER 2 Max and 160W Solar Panel Bundle combines a compact 512Wh portable power station with a lightweight bifacial solar panel for home backup, camping, travel and off-grid charging.

The RIVER 2 Max provides 500W pure sine wave AC output, fast 60-minute mains charging and long-life LFP battery technology. The included 160W solar panel features N-Type TOPCon cells, up to 25% conversion efficiency, an integrated adjustable stand and a built-in XT60 charging cable.

Product Description

The EcoFlow RIVER 2 Max 512Wh 500W + 160W Solar Panel Bundle provides a complete portable power and solar-charging solution for use at home, at work or away from mains electricity.

The RIVER 2 Max has a 512Wh battery capacity and delivers 500W total pure sine wave AC output. It supports a surge output of up to 1000W, while EcoFlow X-Boost technology can operate selected compatible appliances rated up to 1000W.

Its LFP battery chemistry is rated to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 3,000 complete charging cycles. EcoFlow’s Battery Management System monitors important operating conditions including voltage, current and temperature.

Using AC mains power, the RIVER 2 Max can recharge from 0–100% in approximately 60 minutes. Alternative charging methods include solar, compatible vehicle charging and USB-C.

The power station supports solar input from 11–50V, up to 13A and a maximum of 220W.

Included in this bundle is the EcoFlow 160W Lightweight Bifacial Portable Solar Panel. It uses N-Type TOPCon monocrystalline cells and delivers up to 25% conversion efficiency.

The panel is rated at 160W under standard test conditions. Its bifacial construction can also capture reflected light through the rear surface, with EcoFlow specifying output of up to 177W under bifacial nameplate irradiance conditions.

An integrated adjustable stand supports positioning between approximately 30 and 60 degrees. The built-in approximately 2.5m XT60 cable connects directly to the RIVER 2 Max solar input.

Solar Charging

The included 160W solar panel is electrically compatible with the RIVER 2 Max:

EcoFlow estimates an approximate four-hour recharge time when using the included 160W solar panel.

Actual solar charging time and output depend on sunlight intensity, panel position, shade, cloud cover, temperature, battery level and other environmental conditions.

Position the panel in direct sunlight and adjust the integrated stand to obtain the best available angle.

Compatibility

The RIVER 2 Max provides 500W total normal AC output. Confirm that the combined continuous power requirement of connected equipment remains within this limit.

X-Boost can support selected appliances rated up to 1000W, but it is not suitable for every appliance. Equipment requiring strict voltage regulation, sensitive electronics or continuous power above 500W should be checked carefully before use.

The included solar panel connects directly to the RIVER 2 Max through its integrated XT60 cable. No separate solar charging adapter is required for this bundle.

Do not exceed the RIVER 2 Max solar-input limits of 50V, 13A and 220W.

This portable power station is not a permanently installed grid-tied inverter and must not be connected directly to household electrical wiring or a distribution board without a suitable approved changeover system and qualified installation.
