The EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery is a 720Wh expansion battery designed exclusively for the compatible EcoFlow RIVER Pro, increasing the total connected system capacity from 720Wh to 1440Wh for longer backup and off-grid runtime.

This product is an extra battery add-on only and cannot be used as a standalone portable power station.

Product Description

The EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery is designed for customers who already own a compatible EcoFlow RIVER Pro and require additional battery capacity for home backup, camping, travel, outdoor work and light load-shedding support.

When connected to the EcoFlow RIVER Pro, the Extra Battery doubles the total available system capacity from 720Wh to 1440Wh. This provides additional stored energy for compatible devices connected through the RIVER Pro portable power station.

The RIVER Pro and Extra Battery operate as one connected power system. Charging and discharging are managed through the connected RIVER Pro rather than directly through the Extra Battery.

The Extra Battery uses lithium-ion battery chemistry and is rated for approximately 800 complete charging cycles before reaching around 80% of its original capacity.

A dedicated expansion power cable connects the battery to the expansion port on the EcoFlow RIVER Pro. Both devices must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting the cable.

An integrated display provides battery and operating information while the system is in use. The portable design and integrated carrying handle make the Extra Battery suitable for transport between home, office, camping and outdoor locations.

This product does not include AC, USB, vehicle or DC5521 output ports. Appliances and electronic devices must be connected to the compatible EcoFlow RIVER Pro.

The EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery is designed exclusively for the RIVER Pro and is not compatible with other EcoFlow portable power stations.

This product cannot operate independently. It must remain connected to the compatible EcoFlow RIVER Pro during charging and discharging.

Devices cannot be connected directly to the Extra Battery. All appliances and electronics must be connected to the output ports on the EcoFlow RIVER Pro.

Only one EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery can be connected to one compatible EcoFlow RIVER Pro.

Switch off both the RIVER Pro and the Extra Battery before connecting or disconnecting the expansion power cable.

Connect the expansion cable securely to the expansion ports on both devices and tighten the connector screws before switching the system on.

For first-time use, fully charge the connected system and confirm that the Extra Battery icon appears on the RIVER Pro display.

Store the Extra Battery in a dry location away from water, excessive heat and direct sunlight.

For extended storage, EcoFlow recommends charging the battery to approximately 30% to 50%, switching it off and storing it at room temperature.
