Product Description

The EcoFlow RIVER Pro + Extra Battery Bundle combines the 720Wh EcoFlow RIVER Pro Portable Power Station with the 720Wh EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery.

Connecting the two units increases total battery capacity from 720Wh to 1440Wh.

The additional battery increases the amount of stored energy available to the RIVER Pro, helping extend potential runtime between charges.

The RIVER Pro remains the main power station and provides the system's AC, USB and DC outputs. The Extra Battery connects directly to the RIVER Pro through the dedicated Expansion Power Port using the included Expansion Power Cable.

The RIVER Pro delivers 600W total pure sine wave AC output with 1200W surge capability.

For selected higher-powered appliances, X-Boost can support devices rated up to 1800W. For the best X-Boost performance, appliances below 1200W are recommended because some higher-powered devices with strict voltage requirements may not operate correctly.

The RIVER Pro supports fast X-Stream AC charging, up to 200W solar input and compatible 12V vehicle charging.

Multiple AC, USB and DC outputs allow up to nine compatible devices to be powered or charged at the same time.

Connecting the Extra Battery

The included RIVER Pro Extra Battery connects to the RIVER Pro through the dedicated Expansion Power Ports.

Connection

1. Switch off both the RIVER Pro and RIVER Pro Extra Battery.
2. Open the Expansion Power Port covers on both units.
3. Connect the included Expansion Power Cable securely between the two Expansion Power Ports.
4. Tighten the cable connections securely.
5. Switch the system on.
6. Confirm that the Extra Battery connection is recognised by the RIVER Pro.

The RIVER Pro Extra Battery cannot be used independently.

Please note: Actual runtime and performance will vary depending on the specific device or appliance connected, its power consumption, startup requirements, battery level and operating conditions. Higher-power devices will use the available battery capacity faster than lower-power devices.

Always check both the operating power and startup requirements of the connected appliance before use.

EPS Backup Power

The EcoFlow RIVER Pro can operate as an Emergency Power Supply.

When connected to mains electricity, compatible devices receive power from the mains source. If mains power is interrupted, the RIVER Pro automatically switches to battery power within approximately:

30 milliseconds

Important: A 30ms transfer time is not the same as a zero-transfer-time online UPS.

Some sensitive equipment, including certain desktop computers and servers, may switch off during the transfer.

Always check and test sensitive equipment before relying on the RIVER Pro for uninterrupted operation.

App Control

The EcoFlow RIVER Pro supports remote monitoring and control through the EcoFlow app.

Compatible functions and power information can be monitored and managed remotely.

Important AC Charging Guidance

Use suitable surge protection when charging the RIVER Pro from mains electricity.

Power surges can occur when grid electricity is restored after an outage or load-shedding period and may damage connected electrical equipment.

Avoid leaving the unit connected to mains electricity when power is expected to return following a scheduled outage unless suitable surge protection is in place.
