Product Description

The EcoFlow RIVER Pro is a compact and expandable portable power station designed for home backup, office use, camping, travel, mobile work and light load-shedding support.

Its 720Wh lithium-ion battery provides stored power for compatible routers, laptops, lights, cameras, televisions, mobile devices, portable refrigerators and selected small appliances when mains electricity is unavailable.

The RIVER Pro delivers a continuous pure sine wave AC output of 600W and surge power of up to 1200W. Its two South African-standard AC outlets allow compatible household and electronic devices to be connected within the power station’s supported output limits.

EcoFlow X-Boost technology can operate selected compatible appliances rated between approximately 600W and 1200W by adjusting the supplied voltage. X-Boost does not increase the RIVER Pro’s normal continuous AC output above 600W.

The RIVER Pro can power or charge up to nine compatible devices simultaneously through its AC, USB-A, USB-C, vehicle and DC5521 outputs.

EcoFlow X-Stream charging technology can recharge the battery from approximately 0% to 80% in under one hour. A complete AC recharge takes approximately 96 minutes under suitable conditions.

The battery capacity can be expanded from 720Wh to 1440Wh using a separately sold EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery and the required expansion cable.

The RIVER Pro supports charging through AC mains power, compatible solar panels and a suitable 12V vehicle accessory socket. Its solar input supports up to 200W from compatible panels.

Emergency Power Supply functionality provides an automatic switchover time of approximately 30 milliseconds when mains electricity is interrupted. Connected devices must be able to tolerate this transfer time.

Wi-Fi connectivity allows the RIVER Pro to be monitored and controlled through the EcoFlow App. Available functions may include battery monitoring, output control, X-Boost settings, charging configuration and firmware updates.

The combined continuous AC power requirement of connected equipment must remain within the RIVER Pro’s 600W rated AC output.

Appliances containing motors, compressors, pumps, transformers or heating elements may require substantially more power during startup. Check both the operating and startup power requirements before connecting an appliance.

X-Boost can support selected compatible appliances rated between approximately 600W and 1200W by adjusting the supplied voltage.

X-Boost does not increase the RIVER Pro’s normal continuous AC output above 600W and may not be suitable for:

The RIVER Pro provides Emergency Power Supply operation with a transfer time of approximately 30 milliseconds.

The EPS function is not a zero-transfer online UPS and may not be suitable for critical servers, sensitive workstations, medical equipment, life-support equipment, security systems or specialised telecommunications equipment.

The RIVER Pro can be connected to one compatible EcoFlow RIVER Pro Extra Battery to increase the total capacity from 720Wh to 1440Wh.

The RIVER Pro Extra Battery and expansion cable are sold separately unless specifically included in a bundle.

Solar charging requires compatible solar panels and the correct EcoFlow solar charging cable. Solar panels and charging cables are sold separately unless specifically included.

Vehicle charging requires a suitable 12V vehicle accessory socket. Vehicle charging should normally be performed while the engine is running to reduce the risk of draining the starter battery.

Wi-Fi functions require a compatible mobile device, the EcoFlow App and a suitable network connection.

Runtime varies according to connected-device wattage, startup demand, battery level, conversion losses, temperature and operating conditions.
