Its microprocessor-controlled design incorporates Boost and Buck Automatic Voltage Regulation to help stabilise incoming mains voltage.

Battery-mode output uses a simulated sinewave with a typical transfer time of 2–6ms and a published maximum of 10ms.

The batteries typically recharge to approximately 90% capacity within 4–6 hours.

Its five-socket output configuration consists of two standard South African wall sockets and three newer South African sockets that also accept compatible 2-pin Euro plugs.
