The RCT 3000VA Line Interactive UPS provides high-capacity short-term backup power and voltage protection for office equipment, IT infrastructure and high-demand business or home environments. It features Automatic Voltage Regulation, four internal batteries and a 3000VA / 1800W power capacity.

Product Description

The RCT 3000VA Line Interactive UPS is designed to provide high-capacity short-term backup power during load shedding, power outages and unstable electricity conditions.

It is suitable for offices, IT setups and high-demand home or business environments requiring support for multiple compatible devices or higher-wattage equipment.

Its line-interactive technology and Boost and Buck Automatic Voltage Regulation stabilise incoming voltage fluctuations without unnecessary switching to battery power. This assists with protecting connected equipment while helping to extend battery lifespan.

The UPS has a rated power capacity of 3000VA / 1800W and uses a simulated sinewave output. It features microprocessor-controlled operation, automatic restart when mains power returns, off-mode charging and a cold-start function that allows the unit to power on without mains electricity.

Four built-in 12V / 9Ah batteries provide backup power and can recharge to approximately 90% capacity in around six hours. The unit operates at a noise level below 40dB.

Protection features include overload, battery discharge and battery overcharge protection. Connectivity includes USB monitoring support, RJ-45 surge protection, an AC input, circuit breaker and South African output sockets.

Important: This UPS is intended to provide short-term backup power and is not designed for continuous use. The total connected load must remain within the rated capacity.
