Product Description

The RCT 850VA Line Interactive UPS is designed to provide dependable short-term backup power during load shedding, power outages and unstable electricity conditions.

With a higher capacity than entry-level models, it is suitable for supporting multiple compatible devices such as routers, desktop computers, monitors and security systems.

Its line-interactive technology and Boost and Buck Automatic Voltage Regulation help stabilise incoming voltage fluctuations without continuously switching to battery power. This assists with protecting connected equipment while helping to extend battery life.

The UPS has a rated power capacity of 850VA / 480W and uses a simulated sinewave output. It features microprocessor-controlled operation, a cold-start function, automatic restart when mains power returns and off-mode battery charging.

The built-in 12V / 7Ah battery can recharge to approximately 90% capacity within four to six hours. Protection features include overload, battery discharge and battery overcharge protection.

Its compact design, South African output sockets, USB monitoring support and RJ-11 surge protection make it suitable for home and small-office environments.

Important: This UPS is intended to provide short-term backup power and is not designed for continuous use. The total connected load must remain within the rated capacity.
