The RCT NL-N04KA 4-Dial Combination Notebook Security Lock is designed for users who need a practical way to help secure compatible notebooks and ultrabooks in professional, educational and shared-use environments.

The lock uses a four-dial combination mechanism, allowing users to create their own security code without needing to carry a physical key. The factory preset combination is 0-0-0-0.

Before attaching the lock to a notebook, the combination can be changed using the reset button. The selected combination should be tested before the lock is installed.

The lock is compatible with supported T-Bar security slots and includes an adaptor kit for compatible notebook and ultrabook installations.

To secure a compatible device, the cable is looped around a suitable fixed object, the T-Bar locking head is inserted into the notebook’s security slot and the lock body is rotated into position. The number wheels are then mixed to secure the lock.

The RCT NL-N04KA is suitable for office desks, reception counters, classrooms, meeting rooms, training rooms, shared workspaces and public-facing environments where notebooks may need to remain physically secured.

This lock is designed for compatible devices fitted with a supported T-Bar-style security slot. Devices fitted with Nano, wedge-shaped or other security-slot formats may not be compatible without the appropriate supported adaptor.

Security-slot shapes and specifications can differ between notebook models. Compatibility should not be determined by the device type or screen size alone.

The factory preset combination is 0-0-0-0. Set and test your own combination before attaching the lock to your notebook.

Keep your selected combination in a secure place. Once the factory combination has been changed, the lock must be opened using the newly selected code.

The cable should be looped around a secure fixed object that cannot easily be moved, lifted or dismantled.
