The RCT SD-13 USB-C 13-in-1 Docking Station is designed for users who need to expand a compatible USB-C device with display, data, wired network, audio, memory-card and charging connectivity through one compact docking solution.

The docking station connects through USB-C and provides HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA outputs for compatible modern and legacy displays. The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 30Hz, while DisplayPort 1.2 supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160. The VGA output supports up to 1080p at 60Hz.

Multi-Stream Transport support allows compatible Windows systems to use multiple external displays where the host device, operating system and connected displays support MST.

macOS does not support MST extended-display mode through this type of docking station. Multiple connected external monitors may display the same mirrored image instead of separate extended desktops.

The built-in RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port supports wired network speeds of up to 1000Mbps and is backward compatible with supported 100Mbps and 10Mbps networks.

Three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and one USB 3.0 Type-C data port allow compatible keyboards, mice, storage devices and other peripherals to be connected. The docking station also includes SD and TF memory-card support for compatible storage cards.

Separate 3.5mm audio and microphone ports provide connectivity for compatible headphones, speakers and microphones.

The USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 port supports pass-through charging of up to 100W when used with a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger, cable and host device.

Its aluminium housing and compact design make the RCT SD-13 suitable for professional workstations, home offices, boardrooms, classrooms and hybrid-work setups.

For HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA output, the host USB-C port must support video output. USB-C ports that support charging or data only may not provide external-display functionality.

Multi-Stream Transport requires a compatible Windows device, supported graphics hardware, suitable drivers and an MST-capable USB-C connection.

macOS does not support MST extended-display mode through this type of docking station. Multiple connected external monitors may mirror the same image rather than display separate extended desktops.

To achieve the listed display resolutions, the host device, USB-C port, operating system, docking station, display and connected cables must support the required resolution and refresh rate.

For pass-through charging, a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger and cable are required. Charging performance depends on the connected charger, host device and supported Power Delivery level.

The docking station cannot increase the charging input, display capability, network speed or data-transfer performance of the connected host device beyond its supported specifications.

Actual network speed depends on the host device, network equipment, Ethernet cabling and internet or local-network performance.

Operating-system support and individual docking functions may vary depending on the connected device, drivers and system configuration.
