Product Description

The Synology RKS-02 is a sliding rail kit designed for compatible Synology rackmount servers and storage expansion systems installed in supported 4-post 19-inch racks.

Unlike fixed rack mounting, sliding rails allow the installed Synology system to move forward from the cabinet for easier access during installation and maintenance.

Synology specifies a supported rack mounting depth of 610mm to 890mm.

The rack must have a mount-post width of at least 450mm and a panel width of at least 480mm.

For square-hole racks, the mounting holes must measure at least 9.5 × 9.5mm. For round-hole racks, the mounting holes must be at least 7.1mm.

Compatibility is exact-model specific. The RKS-02 should only be purchased after confirming both the Synology system model and rack dimensions.
