Product Description

The Synology RX418 adds four drive bays to compatible 1U Synology RackStation systems.

Its 1U chassis supports compatible 3.5-inch SATA HDDs, 2.5-inch SATA HDDs and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. The RX418 connects to the host RackStation through eSATA and is managed directly through Synology DSM.

Online volume expansion allows supported storage configurations to grow without interrupting normal storage services.

At only 290mm deep without server ears, the RX418 is particularly useful where conventional full-depth rack hardware may be difficult to deploy.

It supports compatible 4-post rack rails as well as direct mounting in supported 2-post 19-inch racks.

A compatible Synology RackStation and storage drives are required.
