The lock supports three common security slot types: Noble Wedge, Kensington K-slot, and Nano Security slot. This makes it suitable for a wide range of compatible devices where a supported physical lock slot is available.

The combination lock uses a resettable 4-digit number system, with the preset combination set to 0-0-0-0. Users can reset the combination by using the reset button and setting their preferred code before locking the device.

To secure a device, the cable is looped around a secure fixed object, and the cleat is inserted into the compatible security slot. Once the lock is engaged and the number wheels are mixed, the device is secured.

The lock cleat can rotate 360°, helping it fit more easily into compatible device lock slots during installation.
