Compatibility Note

Please check that your Synology RackStation is compatible with the Synology RX418 before ordering.

The uploaded Synology spec sheet lists selected compatible models across the 22 Series, 21 Series, 20 Series, 19 Series, 18 Series, 16 Series, and 15 Series for creating volumes across different units. It also lists RS217 for creating volumes on a single unit only.

Synology notes a DSM version requirement of DSM 6.1.4-15217-3 or later.

For better performance, Synology recommends creating storage volumes physically located within the same NAS or expansion unit, rather than creating volumes across the NAS and expansion unit.

This product is an expansion unit only. Storage drives, rack rail kits, and optional accessories are not included unless specifically stated by the seller.
