Product Description

The RCT 1000VA Line Interactive UPS is designed to provide reliable short-term backup power during load shedding, power outages and unstable electricity conditions.

Its increased capacity makes it suitable for home offices, workstations, networking equipment, point-of-sale systems and CCTV or security installations that require more power headroom than entry-level UPS models.

The line-interactive design uses Boost and Buck Automatic Voltage Regulation to stabilise incoming voltage fluctuations without unnecessary switching to battery power. This assists with protecting connected equipment while helping to extend battery life.

The UPS has a rated power capacity of 1000VA / 600W and uses a simulated sinewave output. It includes microprocessor-controlled operation, a cold-start function, automatic restart when mains power returns and off-mode battery charging.

Two built-in 12V / 7Ah batteries provide backup power and can recharge to approximately 90% capacity within four to six hours. Protection features include overload, battery discharge and battery overcharge protection.

USB monitoring support, RJ-11/45 surge protection and South African output sockets provide convenient connectivity for compatible home and office equipment.

Important: This UPS is intended to provide short-term backup power and is not designed for continuous use. The total connected load must remain within the rated capacity.
