The Synology RKS-02 Sliding Rail Kit is designed to mount compatible Synology rackmount servers and expansion units in supported equipment racks.

Its sliding rail design allows the installed Synology system to be extended from the rack, helping provide easier access during maintenance, inspection and hardware servicing.

The RKS-02 supports rack mounting depths from 610mm to 890mm. The rack must have a minimum mounting post width of 450mm and a minimum panel width of 480mm.

It supports compatible racks with square mounting holes measuring at least 9.5 × 9.5mm or round mounting holes with a minimum diameter of 7.1mm.

Compatibility depends on both the Synology system and the physical design of the equipment rack.

Measure the usable mounting depth between the front and rear rack posts before purchase. The external depth of the rack alone does not confirm compatibility.
